Gettysburg

After D.C. we made the short drive up to Gettysburg. We spent most of our time there touring the battlefield but also enjoyed a yummy Italian dinner and some homemade ice cream.

One of the battlefield sites is called "Little Round Top", Brad thought that would be a cute nickname for Ella and so thought we should get a picture of her in front of the sign. Unfortunately, he didn't come up with this clever idea until after we had passed the last battlefield site of "Big Round Top"; otherwise we would have a picture of Brad in front of that sign!

For some reason Ella didn't feel so comfortable with the same pose when Emily was holding her . . .

Ella's favorite part of Gettysburg was the fun time she had when Dad would drop her from the side of the castle and Mom would catch her!

No Way are you dropping Ella that far. I'll have to go to work on Brad's "Little Round Top" that I thought was smart attached to his neck. Don't show that picture to his profs. Maybe Brad wanted to practice medicine sooner. Looks like a great trip. Thanks for the pictures.

She is so cute! That's such a fun age.

On another note, where do you get your cute backgrounds?
