21 months

Maggie is 21 months now and as big of a handful as ever! She climbs in and out of her crib at will (still trying to figure out what to do about that) and can always be found getting into mischief. She has loads of energy and is still the best giggler around. She has started talking to us a lot more and added a ton of words to her vocabulary in the past 3 months--Yea! Although she still loves to get our attention quickly with an abrupt scream, she is starting to master her "nice voice" and is getting to be a better listener to Mom, Dad, and Ella. She is such a fun-loving little girl who loves to be in the middle of the excitement and is always up to playing no matter what. . .even if it is naptime, bedtime, grocery shopping time--you name it, to her it should be PLAY TIME! She is friendly and social and loves having anyone to play with. She actually seems to prefer hanging out with boys more than girls right now(other than her sister whom she adores), probably because she is a little more on the rambunctious side! She smiles from ear to ear, and the back of her hair falls into adorable little curls. She will take off her clothes anytime she gets, diaper and all--in fact, the other morning she woke up and came out of her room holding her diaper and pajamas and asking me to changer her! She has a love affair with dogs, sleeps with 2 every night, begs to stop by the neighbors' house to play with their two, and is always the first to point out every dog she sees when we are on walks or driving in the car. I can't believe she is so close to being 2--it'll be fun to see what other "adventures" she has in store for us as she grows!
