We're Going on a Bear Hunt

This book has always been a favorite at our house:

And when Daddy's home, a favorite activity is to go on a bear hunt in our house. . .

"We're going on a Bear Hunt, gonna catch a big one. What a beautiful day! We're not scared"

Uh-oh, (insert grass, mud, a river, a snowstorm, a forest). We can't go over it, we can't go under it.

Oh no! We've got to go through it!

"Splish, splash, splish splash"

Repeat above many times throughout whole house and all terrains until you get to the bear cave. . .
"Tiptoe, Tiptoe, Tiptoe. WHAT'S THAT?"

"One shiny wet nose, two big furry ears, two big goggly eyes"

"IT'S A BEAR!!!"
(Yep, that's mom in the closet!)

"Quick, back through the (forest, snowstorm, river, mud, grass). Get to our front door, open the door, up the stairs. . . ."
"Into bed."
"Under the covers."
"We're not going on a bear hunt again!"

The really funny thing is Maggie giggles the whole time, and Ella gets super scared when she sees the bear (ME) and runs as fast as she can back to bed--she doesn't wait for Daddy and Maggie at all!

Brad is so good at being a kid!! (I really do mean that in the nicest way!)
