5

This girl turned 5!  She is so excited to start kindergarten in the fall.  She is reading on her own and is sight reading more and more words everyday.  She has mastered the monkey bars and is an awesome little soccer player.  She has matured a lot over the past year and has really taken to her role as big sister while Ella has been at school all day.  She has become a big helper to me as well.  She is kind and thoughtful and has developed a great ability to put others' needs/wants ahead of her own.  Our more strong-willed child has become more of a peacemaker, and we love it!  She is still our biggest giggler and loves to find any chance she can to goof off and be silly.  She has decided she does not like the name Maggie and has asked us to start calling her Marjorie instead, which is the name of Brad's grandmother who she was named after.  She is loud. . .especially when she is excited about something, and we are constantly reminding her to turn down the volume!  She LOVES to sing, whenever she goes missing in the house you can guarantee that you will find her out in the backyard singing at the top of her lungs for all the neighbors to hear.  She loves to catch bugs (especially grasshoppers) and is also very concerned about our garden and goes to check on the plants for me each day.  Maggie is a wonderful little five-year-old and we love the fun she is always bringing to our family.  Happy Birthday Maggie Moo!
