Ella has become super attached to this little pink bear. . .she wants to take it with her anywhere she goes. I walked into her room one day during a nap and saw her snuggling with it. So precious. . .
We had a big storm come through on Mother's Day. Well, it wasn't really a big storm but it came with some big gusts of wind that rushed down our street. It actually snapped off half of one of our small trees. But look what it did down the road. . .
Can you believe it? If you don't look hard enough you may miss the car under there that was smashed to pieces! I don't think the pictures do it justice either. You cannot appreciate how big this tree was if you didn't see it in person. The tree had to have been 100 feet tall and it just got totally uprooted and smashed to the ground. So sad. . .
The other day Ella woke up from her nap and her hair was a crazy mess. Brad wanted to take a picture of it but she was snuggling up to me, so I lifted her off my chest and she was NOT happy about it. This is the ensuing picture.
And last, but not least, Ella is no longer the only grandchild on the Draper side of the family. Last Friday my brother Shane and his wife Jessica had a baby boy and named him Kaden. We are so excited for you guys (even if it means Ella will have to share the attention) and cannot wait to meet little Kaden in less than a month now! Congrats you guys!

Can't resist a comment about Ella's after nap hairstyle. It always seemed to be 'the best' after her afternoon nap. It really sticks up all over the place. Perhaps some gel would help.
