Can you name it?
Anyone know what this huge, creepy bug is that was trying to get into my garage last week? Really, it was like 3-4 inches long and kept walking up and down my
garage door trying to work it's way under and into the house. Thankfully, it wasn't successful. I have never seen anything like it. Any ideas?

It might be a tarantula wasp, also called tarantula hawk wasp.
yep its a tarantula wasp, they are everywhere in AZ. They land on the backs of tarantulas and lay there eggs inside the tarantula. The eggs then hatch, and use the tarantula as a food source. Just an interesting factoid.
