We celebrated with Ella the weekend before her birthday. We have told our girls that we only do parties with friends every other year, so on the "off" years we do a family activity to celebrate birthdays. This year Ella decided she wanted to go bowling. We let her invite 2 friends to join us and we went bowling and out to lunch together. She invited her best friend Eliza from school (who is moving this month :( ), and her friend Ragan from church. We had a lot of fun and the girls seemed to enjoy their fun day out!
