The Mail

 

The girls think it is the biggest treat if I let them got get the mail by themselves.  The mailbox is down the street  and they have to take the key, find the right box and bring the mail home.  I usually watch from the front porch, just to make sure they stay on the sidewalk and are safe, but they have never seen me watch them yet.  I think they feel very big and independent that they are doing it completely on their own.  It has become quite an easy bribe. . ."if you finish. . . then you guys can go get the mail by yourselves.  They are thrilled every time!
